Great progress within HOPE!

Yesterday, Stichting Kind Beter welcomed the HOPE team to Mountain Design to reflect on the first year and a half of the project.

Within HOPE, we are developing an innovative platform using brain organoids, enabling existing and new medicines to be tested on a large scale for FOXP1 syndrome and, ultimately, for other rare genetic brain disorders as well.

And we can already say: HOPE is making great progress! Important steps are being taken, new insights and opportunities are emerging along the way, and there is a great sense of enthusiasm within the team. It is very special for us at Stichting Kind Beter to be part of this journey.

Not everyone was able to join us in person – several team members joined online – but together we had the opportunity to look back at what has been achieved so far and look ahead to the next steps.

HOPE is a collaboration between LUMC, Radboudumc, PimBio and Stichting Kind Beter, made possible with the support of Hersenstichting and Proefdiervrij.

We’ll be sharing a more detailed update on HOPE’s progress soon. To be continued!
